WHO WE ARE

YWCA of Greater Flint is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

The YWCA is one of the nation's oldest and largest women’s organizations, and YWCA Greater Flint has served the community since 1908, offering a range of services based on the evolving needs of women and children. Throughout our history, programs and services have been at the forefront of addressing the most pressing social issues, and today our primary focus is on three organizational priorities:

Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program
Empowerment Programs & Services
Social Justice Initiatives
