SEXUAL ASSAULT RESPONSE TEAM
(SART)
A multidisciplinary group representing law enforcement, hospitals, and service providers who work collaboratively to ensure coordinated response and support for sexual assault victims in Genesee County.

SART, the Sexual Assault Response Team of Genesee County, is a victim-centered community collaborative effort designed to provide a coordinated response to sexual assaults in our community. SART ensures there is a competent, consistent, and sensitive multidisciplinary response regarding sexual assault in our community.

​The Genesee County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) will empower, support and promote healing, in a victim-centered, trauma informed way to all racial, social, religious, and economic groups, ages, gender, disabilities, lifestyles, or sexual orientation who are victims of sexual assault by ensuring they are provided with a competent, consistent, and sensitive multidisciplinary response.
