YWCA of Greater Flint offers anti-violence resources in the following areas:

  • SafeHouse - a 31 bed facility providing 30 days or more of safe emergency shelter and supportive services
  • Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services - a program dedicated to supporting survivors to heal from the trauma of domestic violence and/or sexual abuse and childhood sexual abuse.
  • Legal Advocacy - offers survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault assistance in navigating the legal system
  • Counseling Services and Support Groups - individual and family counseling services
  • CHILL - an anger management and violence prevention program for young people, ages 6 to 18, who have difficulty managing their anger at home, at school, or in social situations
  • Domestic Violence Intervention Program - educational groups for intimate and non-intimate violence
