how counseling will help

Crisis counseling are designed to provide survivors with the tools to empower themselves to increase their safety and lead lives free from violence.
Crisis Counseling is for survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault or non-offending family and friends of the survivor.
  • Counselors provide crisis intervention and supportive services to survivors.
  • Counselors assist with safety planning, connecting survivors to resources, and other support based on individual needs.
Sexual Assault Therapists are for survivors of sexual assault (assault identified at any time in one's life) who are in need of therapeutic interventions.
