| This inspirational event is designed to demonstrate how the YWCA impacts the lives of individuals. Table Captains invite 9 women to be guests at their tables and to take part in a very remarkable and inspiring luncheon. Guests are asked to make a donation to the YWCA at the conclusion of the event. Circle of Women brings together both long-term supporters and women learning about the YWCA for the first time. Together, they commit to sharing their resources to strengthen the YWCA’s capacity to touch the lives of women and their families in important and far-reaching ways. |
| WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT |

| The YWCA biennially hosts the Women of Achievement Awards. This event allows the YWCA, the greater Flint community, and corporations/organizations to publicly honor outstanding women for their contributions to the community and the workplace. The Women of Achievements awards has come to be known as the premier recognition program for women in the Genesee County. The awards program consists of four categories of community and corporate recognition: The Nina Mills Award, Corporate Women of Achievement, Not-For-Profit Women of Achievement and Making A Difference Award. |
| GOLF CLASSIC |
| July 25, 2005 |
| The 7th Annual Golf Classic will take place on Monday, July 25, 2005 at Davison Country Club. Through sponsor, donor, and community participation, the YWCA is able to raise funds to strengthen services. The Golf Classic is designed as a four-person scramble with a 36 team capacity, 9:00am shotgun start, and includes the infamous "Wayward Ball" contest. |
